Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in reporting. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards, managing month-end and year-end close processes, and reconciling general ledger accounts. The role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. The accountant will also monitor cash flow, prepare budget forecasts, and assist with variance analysis to support financial planning. Additionally, the position requires maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and coordinating with external auditors during audits. The accountant will support the finance team in ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
