Entry Level Truck Driver

As an Entry Level Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating concrete delivery trucks and supporting plant operations at our Derwent Park and Bridgewater concrete plants. Your primary duties include: - Safely operating heavy vehicles to transport concrete to construction sites, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to traffic regulations. - Loading and unloading concrete materials, including operating truck-mounted concrete pumps and chutes. - Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance standards. - Assisting with plant operations, such as mixing concrete, maintaining equipment, and cleaning work areas. - Communicating effectively with dispatch, plant staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues. - Following all company safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. - Participating in on-the-job training to develop skills in truck driving, machine operation, and construction industry practices. - Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service as required by regulations.
