Associate Mechanical Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the building services industry, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Proven track record of managing projects profitably and securing repeat clients. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical system design, codes, and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IBC, NFPA). Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to mentor and develop junior staff. Experience in business development and client relationship management. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Commitment to sustainability and energy-efficient design practices.
