Associate Mechanical Engineer

As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will lead and manage mechanical engineering projects within the building services industry. Your primary responsibilities include overseeing project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring profitability, and maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. You will be accountable for project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems into building designs. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the building services industry, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Proven track record of managing projects profitably and securing repeat clients. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical system design, codes, and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IBC, NFPA). Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
