As an Air Export Operator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of air export operations, ensuring efficient and timely movement of cargo from origin to destination. Your key responsibilities include: - Coordinating and processing air export shipments, including booking cargo space with airlines, preparing documentation such as air waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws. - Liaising with clients, freight forwarders, airlines, and ground handling agents to facilitate smooth cargo flow, resolve any operational issues, and provide timely updates on shipment status. - Monitoring shipment schedules, tracking cargo movements, and proactively addressing delays or disruptions to maintain service reliability. - Managing cargo consolidation and deconsolidation processes, ensuring accurate weight and volume calculations, and optimizing space utilization to minimize costs. - Preparing and verifying export documentation for accuracy, including certificates of origin, dangerous goods declarations, and other regulatory paperwork. - Collaborating with internal teams, such as customer service and warehouse operations, to ensure seamless handoffs and adherence to standard operating procedures. - Maintaining accurate records in the freight management system, updating shipment milestones, and generating reports for management review. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations, including IATA and TSA requirements for air cargo. - Handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional service to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce transit times.

To succeed in this role, you should have: - Proven experience in air export operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. - Strong knowledge of air freight documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations. - Proficiency in using freight management systems and Microsoft Office applications. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, carriers, and team members. - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - A relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. - Certification in dangerous goods handling (IATA DGR) is an advantage.
