As an IT Commercial Analytics Intern, you will be part of the P&G Commercial Analytics team, focusing on solving critical business questions using data, science, and technology. Your responsibilities will include:
Data Analysis and Insights Generation: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions. Use statistical methods and machine learning techniques to model and predict consumer behavior, sales performance, and market dynamics.
Technology and Tool Implementation: Work with cutting-edge technologies such as Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate analytics solutions into existing systems.
Business Problem Solving: Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, supply chain) to identify key business questions and develop data-driven strategies. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Project Management: Lead or contribute to analytics projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging trends in data science, AI, and analytics. Propose and test new methodologies or tools to enhance team capabilities and efficiency.
Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Work in a team-oriented environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.

To succeed in this role, you should have:
- **Education**: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. Expected graduation in 2026 or later.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong foundation in programming languages such as Python or R. Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to think critically and solve complex problems using data. Experience with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present data-driven insights to diverse audiences.
- **Personal Attributes**: Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for leveraging technology to drive business impact.
- **Experience**: Prior internship or project experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field is preferred but not required.
