As a DevOps Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the development and operations teams in automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle. Your primary duties include: Infrastructure Automation: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. You will work on provisioning and managing cloud resources (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure scalability and reliability. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Help build, configure, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. You will ensure smooth code integration and deployment processes. Monitoring and Logging: Support the setup and management of monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to track application performance and system health. You will assist in identifying and resolving issues proactively. Containerization and Orchestration: Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes to manage application deployments and scaling. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and ensure seamless integration with infrastructure. You will also document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing. Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing security best practices within the DevOps pipeline, including vulnerability scanning, access controls, and compliance checks. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes to maintain system uptime and performance. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, allowing you to develop skills in cloud computing, automation, and DevOps methodologies. You will work closely with experienced engineers to contribute to real-world projects and improve operational efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you should have: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Basic understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and command-line tools. - Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or Shell). - Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. - Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is advantageous. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to commit to a minimum internship period of 6 months.
