As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support Actxa's preventive healthcare platform. Your primary duties include: - Designing, coding, and testing software components for health monitoring applications, focusing on features such as activity tracking, sleep analysis, and health data visualization. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring seamless data flow from sensors to user interfaces. - Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of development processes, including version control and continuous integration pipelines. - Troubleshooting and debugging software issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes to enhance system reliability. - Documenting technical specifications, user guides, and API references to support internal and external stakeholders. - Assisting in the deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments, ensuring scalability and performance. - Staying updated with emerging technologies and proposing innovative solutions to improve product functionality and user experience. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced deep tech environment, where you will work on real-world projects that impact population health. You will gain exposure to full-stack development, data processing, and AI integration within a healthcare context.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, or C++. - Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Django) and RESTful APIs. - Basic understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL). - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Strong communication skills in English. - Prior internship or project experience in software development is preferred.
