Curriculum Intern

As a Curriculum Intern in the Mathematics Curriculum Unit, you will be responsible for designing and developing educational content for our learning materials. Your primary duties include: - Creating and refining mathematics curriculum content, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments, to ensure alignment with educational standards and learning objectives. - Collaborating with senior curriculum developers to review and enhance existing materials, incorporating feedback and best practices in instructional design. - Conducting research on current educational trends, pedagogical methods, and mathematics teaching strategies to inform content development. - Assisting in the testing and piloting of new curriculum materials, gathering data on effectiveness and making recommendations for improvements. - Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for innovative educational resources and activities. - Ensuring all content is accurate, age-appropriate, and engaging for students, with a focus on fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Supporting the organization and maintenance of curriculum databases and digital resources. This internship provides hands-on experience in the education sector, allowing you to apply your mathematics expertise to real-world curriculum design projects.

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following qualifications: - Strong foundation in Mathematics, with a proven ability to apply mathematical concepts to educational contexts. - Flair for designing educational materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments. - Currently enrolled in or recently completed tertiary studies (e.g., undergraduate or postgraduate degree) in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Familiarity with educational technology tools and digital content creation is a plus. - Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or curriculum development is advantageous but not required.
