Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance team in daily operations and contribute to key financial processes. Your responsibilities include: - Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing, payment verification, and reconciliation. - Supporting month-end closing activities, such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports. - Helping maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Participating in data analysis and reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure timely reporting. - Assisting in audit preparations by organizing supporting documents and responding to auditor inquiries. - Performing ad-hoc financial research and analysis as needed to support strategic decisions. - Ensuring adherence to internal controls and identifying opportunities for process improvements. - Handling administrative tasks related to finance operations, including filing, data entry, and correspondence. - Contributing to special projects, such as system implementations or process automation initiatives.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
