Teaching Intern

As a Teaching Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the education sector by supporting classroom instruction and student development. Your primary responsibilities include assisting lead teachers in delivering lessons, preparing teaching materials, and facilitating small group activities to reinforce learning concepts. You will work directly with students, providing individualized attention to help them grasp challenging topics, and you will be expected to identify and address the needs of both high-achieving students and those who require additional support. Additionally, you will help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment by managing classroom dynamics, monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback. You will also participate in curriculum planning sessions, contribute ideas for lesson enhancements, and assist with administrative tasks such as grading assignments and tracking student attendance. During term breaks, you will have the opportunity to engage in special projects, such as developing educational resources or organizing enrichment activities, to further develop your skills in educational design and student engagement. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the education industry, preparing you for future roles in teaching or corporate education settings.

You are an intensely passionate educator who loves nurturing kids, including both the brightest students and the shy underdog. You are willing to go out of your way to bring the best to your students and bring out the best in them. You should be currently enrolled in or have recently completed tertiary studies, with a strong academic record. Prior experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with children is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team. You must be adaptable, patient, and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment.
