Intern, FP&A (6-Month Internship)

As an FP&A Intern, you will support the financial planning and analysis team in driving business performance and strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary on key performance indicators. - Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting, consolidating, and analyzing financial data from various departments. - Developing and maintaining financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability for different business units. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions for financial projections. - Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives, such as cost optimization, investment evaluation, and scenario planning. - Preparing presentations for senior management, summarizing financial trends, risks, and opportunities. - Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in financial systems and reports. - Participating in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A operations.

To be successful in this role, you should have: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling). - Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and financial analysis concepts. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings clearly. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Prior internship or coursework in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting is a plus. - Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar) is advantageous but not required.
