As a Junior Chef at our award-winning Middle Eastern restaurant, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of authentic Lebanese cuisine. Your primary responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of traditional breads, desserts, and grilled meats, ensuring consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen team to uphold the restaurant's reputation for authentic flavors and warm hospitality. Daily tasks involve following recipes and techniques to produce dishes that meet our established standards, managing ingredient inventory to ensure freshness, and maintaining a clean and organized work station. You will also support the head chef in menu execution, assist with plating and garnishing, and contribute to a positive kitchen environment. Additionally, you will help in monitoring food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations. This role requires a passion for culinary arts, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
