Registered Nurse - SDS/PACU

As a Registered Nurse in the Same Day Surgery (SDS) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will deliver fundamental, knowledge-based care to assigned clients while developing technical competencies. Your responsibilities include:

Providing direct patient care in the pre-operative and post-anesthesia settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical continuum.

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures and those recovering from anesthesia.

Proficiency in basic written and spoken English, as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f) for direct patient care positions.

Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following at the time the program was
