As a Laboratory Intern, you will be responsible for supporting laboratory operations and conducting analyses in a research environment. Your primary duties will include:
Performing laboratory analyses using PCR-based methods, ELISA-based serology, and biochemical techniques.
Preparing and handling samples for microbiological and plant pathology testing.
Maintaining accurate records of experiments, results, and observations.
Following established laboratory protocols and safety procedures meticulously.
Assisting with the setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following qualifications:
A SAQA-recognised tertiary qualification with relevant subjects such as Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Botany, or a similar field.
