Perform duties involving the installation, maintenance, removal, and storage of temporary seasonal holiday lighting and decorative displays for residential and commercial properties.
Workers will install holiday lighting systems and decorative materials on homes, buildings, trees, shrubs, landscape features, and related exterior structures using ladders, lifts, hand tools, and related equipment.
Duties include: Install seasonal holiday lighting displays, decorative lighting systems, wreaths, garlands, bows, ornaments, and related holiday decorations on residential and commercial properties Secure lighting materials and decorative components to roofs, gutters, windows, trees, shrubs, fences, walkways, and landscape features Inspect lighting products, extension cords, timers, clips, and electrical connections for proper operation and safety Operate ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolding, and hand tools in accordance with company safety procedures Perform seasonal exterior decorating services according to customer specifications and company installation standards Remove holiday lighting and decorations following completion of the holiday season Organize, label, transport, and store lighting materials, decorations, and equipment Drive company vehicles to and from customer job sites Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment Load and unload materials, supplies, ladders, and hand tools Follow supervisor instructions and comply with all workplace safety standards Workers may perform duties outdoors in varying weather conditions including cold temperatures, snow, wind, and rain.
Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform prolonged standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical movements associated with installation activities.
Workers connect pre-manufactured temporary lighting products to existing exterior power sources using standard extension cords, timers, and manufacturer-approved connectors.
Workers inspect decorative lighting products for basic functionality prior to installation.
