Registered Nurse - Infection Preventionist

The Infection Preventionist (IP) - Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates leadership, experience, and creative approaches to manage complex infection control situations. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing infection control practices based on age-specific components. The IP assumes responsibility for coordinating care focused on education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care, as established by policies and guidelines.

Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency as per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f). Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of program completion.
