The Advanced Practice Nurse (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) is responsible for delivering comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical settings. Key duties include: Translating principles of professional nursing practice into anesthesia care, ensuring patient autonomy, dignity, privacy, and safety. Applying current research and practice guidelines to frame anesthesia practice, including up-to-date techniques, pharmacology, and equipment.

Basic Requirements: Education: A master's or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia from a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs (COA) at the time of completion.
