The Registered Nurse in the Infusion Clinic provides direct patient care, including administering intravenous medications, monitoring patients during infusions, and managing adverse reactions.
Responsibilities include assessing patient health status, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and documenting patient responses to treatments.
The nurse collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, educates patients and families about infusion therapies and procedures, and ensures compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
