The Registered Nurse delivers competent, evidence-based care to assigned patients within the Inpatient Service. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The nurse oversees and delegates tasks to licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate to the clinical setting, ensuring safe and effective care delivery. The role involves contributing to the development and coordination of nursing education, orientation, and competency activities for staff.

English Language Proficiency as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f). Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time
