The Registered Nurse on the 5-West Inpatient Service delivers competent, evidence-based care to assigned patients.
Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care, overseeing licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate to the clinical setting, and contributing to the development and coordination of nursing education, orientation, and competency activities.
The nurse supports quality improvement and outcomes-focused initiatives, ensuring care aligns with established standards and protocols.

Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency (proficient in basic written and spoken English per 38 U.S.C.
7403(f)).
Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of program completion.
