Registered Nurse- Patient Aligned Care Team

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) provides direct patient care and care coordination for Veterans within the Primary Care Department. This role involves floating to any primary care location as needed to ensure adequate coverage. The RN is responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice, determining the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the obligation to provide optimal care. Key responsibilities include delivering fundamental, knowledge-based care to assigned patients while developing technical competencies.

Qualifications and requirements include: English Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in basic written and spoken English as per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f). Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency (ACEN or CCNE).
