Registered Nurse-Surgery Quality Improvement Consultant

The Registered Nurse Surgery Quality Improvement Consultant serves as a key member of the Veterans Affairs Surgery Quality Improvement Program (VASQIP), demonstrating leadership, experience, and creative approaches to improving quality-of-care outcomes. This role effectively utilizes all aspects of the nursing process to provide optimal quality review of surgical care provided to patients undergoing operative procedures, using defined metrics established by the National Surgery Office (NSO) through VASQIP.
