Emergency and Critical Care Intern

As an Emergency and Critical Care Intern, you will work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary specialist hospital environment, providing high-quality medical care to critically ill and injured animals. Your primary responsibilities include: Triage and initial assessment of emergency cases, prioritizing patients based on severity of condition. Performing diagnostic procedures such as blood work, radiography, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities. Administering emergency treatments including fluid therapy, oxygen support, pain management, and resuscitation.

Qualified Veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Interest in specialization and/or further education in emergency and critical care. Current registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of New South Wales (NSW). Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
