GRDP Engineer

The GRDP Engineer is responsible for completing the competency-based Manufacturing Global Rotation Development Program (GRDP). This role involves excelling in GRDP rotations that include learning and competency events, as well as on-job performance. The engineer ensures safe, accurate, and on-time execution of tasks as part of manufacturing plant operations. Key responsibilities include participating in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs to enhance operational efficiency and safety. The engineer also mentors others as required, fostering skill development within the team. Additionally, the role serves as a backup for first-level management when requested, demonstrating leadership and decision-making capabilities. The position requires active engagement in manufacturing processes, adherence to safety protocols, and contribution to team goals through collaborative efforts.

Qualifications and requirements include completion of or enrollment in a relevant engineering degree program (e.g., mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred but not required. Willingness to participate in rotational assignments and continuous learning is necessary. Basic understanding of safety standards and quality control principles is expected.
