As a Mechanical Apprentice at Moranbah North Underground Mine, you will undertake a four-year fixed-term contract to gain hands-on experience in the mining industry while working toward a nationally accredited qualification. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment, including heavy machinery, conveyors, and ventilation systems.
Assisting experienced tradespeople in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
