Worker will assist experienced concrete construction tradesmen perform their job duties that requires less skill.
Job duties may include supplying and holding materials, cleaning work area and equipment, load and secure materials by hand on transport vehicle, unloading and separating materials at work yard or worksite by hand, perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites mostly pertaining to ground preparation, ground compaction, assisting with form setting, placement of poured concrete, wheelbarrow concrete to places inaccessible to concrete trucks, assisting tradesmen with rough concrete smoothing, perform visual inspection of materials, inform supervisor of damaged materials, record use and placement of construction materials, record which tradesman used materials and where, load and unload tradesmen tools, may operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials, and remove debris from work yard or worksite.
