The Distribution Planner is responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation of goods with carriers and cargo subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and scheduling daily distribution activities to meet customer demand and production schedules.
Coordinating with carriers and logistics providers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
Monitoring shipment status and resolving any issues or delays in transit.
Maintaining accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and delivery performance.
