team. As an integral part of our organization, you will facilitate
effective communication between parties who speak different language,
ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation in various business
settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services
for conferences, meetings, and business negotiations.
- Accurately convey spoken messages between English and other
languages, maintaining the speaker’s tone and intent.
- Prepare thoroughly for assessments by researching subject matter,
terminology, and cultural nuances specific to the business environment.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during
interpretation sessions.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure communication flow
and customer satisfaction.
- Adapt quickly to different accents, dialects and speaking style within the
multicultural context.
- Stay updated on the events, business practices, and cultural developments
relevant to interpretation.
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle multiple
assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide written translations of documents when required, ensuring
accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation studies or a related field
- Professional certification in interpretation (preferred)
- Proven experience as an interpreter in various business settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the
second language
- Strong listening and comprehension abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Advanced proficiency in both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation
techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge of specialized terminology in business, legal
and technical fields relevant to industries world wide.
- Demonstrate ability to work under pressure, maintain composure in
challenging situations and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, email, and
online research tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
efficiently
- Empathetic communicator with the ability to bridge cultural and linguistic
gaps effectively
- Familiarity with local dialects and regional variations of languages.
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology relevant to major businesses
and sectors, such as finance, real estate, tourism, and
international trade
