Congressional Research Specialist

As a Congressional Research Specialist in the Semester of Service Program, you will support Federal missions through a volunteer project-based opportunity. Your responsibilities include conducting research on legislative issues, analyzing policy documents, and preparing summaries for congressional staff. You will assist in tracking legislation, monitoring committee hearings, and compiling data on policy impacts. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to produce reports and briefings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited trade school, technical or vocational institute, junior college, college, university, or other accredited educational institution. Participation must be with the permission of the institution at which the student is enrolled.
