The Supervisory Transportation Assistant provides leadership in managing transportation staff, ensuring appropriate eligibility determinations for transportation and beneficiary travel reimbursements for healthcare visits.
This requires extensive knowledge of VA laws, directives, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend improvements to the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in the transportation program.
