Senior Social Worker - HUD-VASH

The HUD-VASH Senior Social Worker functions as an independent social work provider, delivering clinical interventions to homeless Veterans to assist them in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing. Key responsibilities include: Providing a range of specialized interventions and treatment modalities used in specialty treatment programs or with special patient populations, including individual, group, and/or family counseling or psychotherapy, as well as advanced level psychosocial and/or case management.

Qualifications and requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English.

Southern Nevada VA Healthcare System provides healthcare and support services to veterans, including homeless veterans through the HUD-VASH program.
