The North America (NA) Global Business Marketing (GBM) team is looking for a Strategic Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone of the region, responsible for removing cross-team friction, enforcing operational standards, and ensuring every marketing initiative delivers on its business promise.
Partnering closely with the Strategy, Insights and Operations Lead, you will own all operational processes, SLAs, cross-functional coordination, budget governance and planning cycles for NA GBM.
This role will lead the operationalization of the standardized global business operations framework across all NA GBM teams, partnering closely with sales, MSO, CST, finance, global marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive consistent execution, eliminate operational bottlenecks and deliver reliable business outcomes across the region.
The ideal candidate is an execution-focused operational specialist with a structured problem-solving mindset, proven track record of scaling processes across cross-functional teams, and ability to resolve friction between competing priorities.

Responsibilities
Process & Operational Excellence
- Optimize and standardize all GBM operational processes, acting as owner of all process definitions, SLAs and operational performance metrics
- Manage operational risk and compliance requirements across the NA region
- Identify operational bottlenecks, implement corrective actions and drive continuous process improvement
- Establish and maintain standardized operational playbooks for all GBM teams
- Framework operations across all marketing channels
- Objectively review workstreams and provide critical analysis to resolve operational bottlenecks and drive cross-team alignment Cross Functional Coordination
- Facilitate end-to-end alignment between GBM, Sales, MSO, CST and global teams
- Own and improve critical cross-functional metrics
- Manage handoff between marketing and sales, including closed-loop quality feedback mechanisms
- Coordinate cross-functional escalations and resolve inter-team dependencies
- Overcome challenges of working on a global team across time zones, ways of working and differing priorities to deliver consistent results System & Tool Governance
- Drive adoption and optimization of marketing systems, tools and platforms across NA GBM
- Own tool onboarding, training and performance tracking for the region
- Monitor resource and asset adoption rates across teams
- Collaborate with Global S&O network to scale global frameworks and best practices in the NA market Financial & Planning Governance
- Own regional budget management and P&L tracking, including forecasting, reconciliation and variance reporting in partnership with the regional Finance BP
- Lead the operationalisation and coordination of regional planning cycles, coordinating annual and quarterly planning inputs, OKR development and alignment with global GBM direction
- Manage the regional operating rhythm, standing meetings, leadership cadences, agendas and regional connectivity touchpoints
- Support the preparation of QBR documentation, leadership presentations and operational review materials
