About Global Payment
The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.
The mission of payment compliance is to build payment compliance strategy & solutions to prevent regulatory risks, and apply flexible strategy to match payment partners' risk appetite in order to reduce channel risk & spillover.
We work closely with algorithm and strategy engineers to build a reliable compliance product system to ensure payment compliance of ByteDance products, including TikTok LIVE, TikTok E-commerce, etc. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship.
Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.
Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

- Develop high-quality software design and architecture for global payment systems;
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle;
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code;
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting;
- Review and debug code; Perform validation and verification testing;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to fix and improve our products;
- Document development phases and monitor systems;
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
