About the role
- We are seeking an experienced tax professional with a legal background to provide coverage with respect to tax structuring/planning, tax controversy, and the tax aspects of product launches and M&A transactions in the United States.
The role will partner closely with business, legal, accounting, and operations teams across a broad range of business and operational activities.
- Review and revise the tax provisions in legal documentation, including transactional agreements, terms of services for product launches, and contracts with third parties.
- Conduct tax research and advice on tax structuring and planning matters.
- Where applicable, manage US federal tax audits and draft responses related thereto.
- Provide transactional support from a tax perspective, including tax due diligence and modeling, for M&A transactions in the United States.
- Work closely with business and operations teams and provide tax assessments/solutions to product launches and similar business matters in the United States.
- Serve as the point person and assist other tax team members with respect to tax research and analyses in Subchapters C and K.
