We're looking for a highly skilled Technical Product Designer/Design Engineer to join our team in the San Jose office.
You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to shape the end-to-end user experience, crafting intuitive, polished interactions that truly solve problems of TikTok's global operation while bringing delightful software user experience.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable translating ideas into prototypes and production-ready designs as they are implementing them in code to bring that vision to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to final product. This includes creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Implement your designs in code (React, TypeScript, etc.), ensuring that what you ship matches the vision with polish and precision.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, developer-friendly experiences.
- Continuously test, learn, and iterate, using feedback and data to refine and improve the user experience.
- Champion design quality and user empathy, shaping both the product and the way we build it.
