The Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team's work spans across a broad and diverse range of functions and workstreams, including government affairs and government relations;

and philanthropy.
The mission of the Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team is to prevent, manage, and mitigate political, legislative, and regulatory threats to TikTok and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience.
You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date in 2026 Fall.

Responsibilities:
This internship provides students the opportunity to join one of our Public Policy teams where you will have the opportunity to
- Track relevant legislation at the Federal and State levels;
- Monitor legislative hearings relevant to tech policy;
- Draft memorandums and documents related to Federal and State legislation and tech-related updates;
- Attends tech-related events;
- Assist the Public Policy team in reaching policymakers;
- And generally working with the Public Policy team to advance the goals of the company.
