The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), College of Engineering, University of Michigan, seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position.
Applications are invited in all areas of materials science and engineering, but are particularly encouraged in sustainable metallurgy (including, but not limited to) critical minerals and metals, decarbonization of metals production and processing, and recyclability.

A Ph.D.
or equivalent terminal degree is required.
