The Apps & Experiences Platform team is powering systems and services for all our user facing apps including

. Our mission is to craft innovative backend services, features, tools, infrastructure, and AI tooling that bring such products to life with delightful user experiences. As part of our team, you'll dive into a mix of building & managing platform infrastructure, and building AI self-serve tools to support the platform and its developer’s needs. We're passionate about building a platform that is highly reliable, available, maintainable, and scalable. 9+ years of experience in designing and building large-scale user-facing systems in production.

3+ years of experience in managing and leading teams building lean mission-critical, highly concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency systems that power user interfaces.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Extensive and strong development experience in cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, is a plus.

Strong hands-on skills. Can drill deep into the complex system design and implementation on a routine basis.

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $236,000 - $339,200.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive

package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
