Key job responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for inventory and warehouse management systems that support AWS's global infrastructure operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements
Participate actively in code review processes, providing meaningful feedback to teammates and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code across the team
Take operational responsibility for software systems, identifying root causes of issues and implementing permanent fixes to improve system reliability and performance
Work with customers and stakeholders to understand business value and requirements, ensuring software solutions align with long-term architectural strategy and customer needs A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing system metrics and addressing any overnight operational issues with your global team.
Throughout the day, you'll design and implement features for supply chain management systems, participate in collaborative code reviews, and work directly with business stakeholders to refine requirements.
You'll spend time analyzing complex supply chain data patterns, building automated solutions for inventory orchestration, and mentoring new team members on system architecture and best practices.
