Key job responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of inbound and outbound technology and infrastructure agreements, including contracts for infrastructure projects, hardware, software, and professional services
- Identify and execute simplification initiatives that help our team scale operations, including exploring and implementing new tools and methodologies to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with commercial, engineering, procurement, and sales teams to address contracting needs, internet governance, supply chain, and compliance matters
- Support both customer-facing products and sales teams as well as procurement and infrastructure teams with legal guidance and contract management
- Contribute to the legal team's overall effectiveness by serving as a force multiplier, helping us manage increasing complexity and volume of work A day in the life
As a Contracts Manager in AWS Infrastructure Legal, you'll work on a diverse range of technology and infrastructure agreements—from hardware and software contracts to professional services and infrastructure projects.
Your day might include drafting and negotiating both inbound and outbound agreements then pivoting to collaborate with our commercial and engineering teams on internet governance, supply chain, procurement, or compliance challenges.
