The position is open for appointment.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be associated with CoreQCD, a research project supported by the Research Council of Norway that focuses on the theoretical description of strongly interacting matter under extreme conditions.
Research topics of particular interest include quantum chromodynamics (QCD) at high temperatures and densities, the equation of state of strongly interacting matter, perturbative QCD, thermal and dense quantum field theory, and applications to neutron stars and heavy-ion collisions.
The purpose of the position is for the successful candidate to develop a research profile and acquire the qualifications required to apply for a position as Associate Professor.
