Support the industrial design team through implementation of material design specifications

Interface with industry and manufacturing partners to research and develop proprietary material combinations and new production techniques

Lead the resolution of design, prototyping and manufacturing issues during the development phase

Manage and maintain CMF product specifications for products in development from concept to production

Bachelors of Industrial Design from an accredited college or university, or relevant professional experience

Ability to communicate design vision and concepts using traditional techniques to internal teams and Leadership

Expert knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, metal fabrication techniques, resin development, coating technologies, plastics decoration processes, fabrics and textiles

Experience working directly with materials suppliers, manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams to solve complex product problems at scale

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
