The team is a part of a self-standing P&L group with the ability to drive both Free Cash Flow and world class customer experience.
We have a need for a software development engineer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This individual will have the responsibility to: - Develop software services that are designed to adapt to the evolving businesses of Amazon while improving customer experience, as well as the quality and productivity of our operations teams.
- Develop a platform that will provide the opportunity to contribute to the complete vertical stack of an SOA based system, which is horizontally connected to most systems in the larger Amazon ecosystem.
Areas include business intelligence, web service implementation, database design, web based applications, UI design and usability and accessibility optimization.
- Build relationships with existing and potential internal customers to understand their individual requirements and demonstrate how products can add value to their business.
- Developers in this position will use a variety of mainstream and open source technologies like Java, C++, Linux, Perl, Javascript, Oracle, as well as in-house Amazon technologies.
