Lead, develop, and uplevel a world-class global communications team across Instagram, Threads and Edits.

Own the IG messaging and narrative and find innovative formats and channels to drive it forward.

Own executive communications for the Head of Instagram and the IG, Threads and Edits leadership teams.

Work as a peer to marketing and partnerships — contributing and shaping the work, not just aligning with it.

Build and open relationships for Instagram leadership across media, creators, culture, entertainment, fashion, sports, and music.

Drive owned, earned media, creator and social strategy globally.

Set the Threads comms strategy with the Threads comms lead, positioning it as the home of real-time public conversation.

Partner with legal, policy, product, and marketing on launches, issue response, and high-stakes moments.

15+ years of communications leadership experience and experience working with founders/CEOs/C-suite

Deep consumer technology and product communications experience, ideally in consumer social, creator platforms, or culture-forward brands

Demonstrated range beyond comms: has contributed substantively to marketing, brand, or partnerships work

Strong judgment and ability to navigate complex, high-stakes communications challenges — teen safety, content moderation, regulatory scrutiny, etc
