POST DOC Assistant Professor(f/m/n) in the Research Staff Group for the National Science Center’s
OPUS 30 (LAP) project entitled “4D Reconstruction of Water Vapor Distribution in the Troposphere by Combining Observations from
GNSS Receivers and Commercial Microwave Links”
DEC-2025/59/I/ST10/01627 at the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics Main tasks and responsibilities: Tasks specified in the project funding this position: • planning, preparing, and participating in scientific experiments aimed at modeling observation errors in the tomographic determination of water vapor content in the atmosphere using various types of input data;
• modifying the
TOMO2 tomographic model to accept data from commercial microwave links (CML);
• conducting and scientifically analyzing tomographic calculations of atmospheric water vapor content using meteorological, GNSS, and CML data;
• preparing and presenting scientific publications;
• conducting research in the fields of Civil Engineering, Geodesy, and Transportation, including securing external funding for research projects;
• disseminating research results through scientific publications in journals indexed in
SCOPUS or Web of Science;
• participation in scientific conferences and symposia (both domestic and international);
• participation in workshops and training sessions aimed at enhancing professional competencies;
• participation in organizational activities for the benefit of the unit and the university;
• other tasks assigned by the unit head, arising from the profile and nature of the unit and the university.
