As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and training retail team members and working to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures.

Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding available products and services Responsible for opening and closing in accordance with management directives and operational procedures Assist management with the daily cash procedures and operations Learn all roles within the department and provide hands-on support as needed to ensure seamless coverage and continuity of service Monitor store floor, assist with guest and team member needs, and ensure integrity of physical inventory and par levels Accurately record all transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and assist with self checkouts Assist with team member check-in and check-out processes to include documentation, assign dorm rooms, and coordinate required maintenance and repair for new arrivals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift Perform other duties assigned More about you Ability to de-escalate guest and team member complaints or concerns and redirect to management Previous experience working with point-of-sale and cash handling required High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment required Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Physical requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Constant standing, lifting, climbing stairs, and repetitive motions Bending, reaching, and climbing on ladders Shift details Days Evenings Holidays Weekends Who we are Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village.
