JOB DESCRIPTION A professional with a Vocational Training qualification (VET, FP,
CFGS or equivalent) in Dietetics is required to monitor participants and conduct follow-up assessments as part of a research project investigating the effects of a Mediterranean diet intervention on cognitive performance and biomarkers of cognitive decline in older adults.
The project also aims to explore the association between Mediterranean diet adherence, including specific food subgroups, and cognitive performance in children through a pilot sub-study.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Assess and analyse the effect of a Mediterranean diet intervention, including specific food subgroups, on cognitive performance and biomarkers of cognitive decline in older adults.
• Gather information on the Mediterranean diet, and its food subgroups, in children to examine their relationship with cognitive performance as a pilot study.
To this end, the nutritionist will interview families at the Martorell Hospital.
