Horticulture Apprentice

As a Horticultural Apprentice in the Parks and Environment team, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of park and garden maintenance. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the creation and upkeep of beautiful parks, vibrant streetscapes, and thriving landscapes across the City. You will work under the supervision of the Supervisors of Passive Spaces, learning practical skills in planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and irrigation.

No specific prior experience is required, as this is an apprenticeship position. However, candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in horticulture, landscaping, or environmental stewardship. A willingness to learn and work outdoors in various weather conditions is essential.
