Job description The AICell Lab () in the department of Applied Physics at KTH and Science for Life Laboratory is a new research group funded by the Data-driven Life Science Fellows program.
The group, led by Wei Ouyang, focuses on building AI systems for data-driven cell and molecular biology.
To expand the team, we are now opening a position for a researcher in privacy-preserving AI for sensitive biomedical data.
The researcher will play a key role in developing our platform where AI agents analyse data where it is, so that sensitive data never has to leave the data owner’s environment.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape how sensitive data can be shared and used safely in research and healthcare across Europe, and to be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team.
The responsibilities are: • Lead research and development of the group’s platform for AI agents and privacy-preserving analysis of sensitive data • Represent KTH in EU projects and identify opportunities to use the platform in them • Initiate applications for external funding and build collaborations with healthcare, industry and data owners • Supervise students and contribute to the supervision of doctoral students in the group • Publish research findings in high-quality scientific journals and conferences Qualifications
