Operating Room Nurse Internship

The Operating Room Nurse Internship is designed to train licensed Registered Nurses with no prior operating room experience to work in the intra-operative environment. This program is open to nurses who are either new graduates or seasoned nurses with a non-surgical background. The internship prepares nurses with the foundational skills essential for providing safe patient care in the operating room. Responsibilities include: Learning and applying sterile techniques and surgical asepsis in the operating room setting.

Qualifications and requirements: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. No prior operating room experience required; open to new graduates or nurses with a non-surgical background. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
